Rear Bumper Adjustable?
Rear Bumper Adjustable?
Well the X I have had got into a little boo boo from either of the previous owners on the history report and all it said in detail was (MINOR Center Rear Damage) I take it that one of the previous owners may have backed into something cause the bumper seems to be a tiny bit tilted on one side and is also not a 100% centered and pushed in evenly on each side. One side from what my eyes can tell has a really really tiny bit more gap than the opposite side. While one side is also tilted upward in an angle and the other side is somewhat level and flat.
I'm kind of thinking it needs a new bumper and or the exsisting bumper needs to be adjusted maybe?

Hopefully you folks can see it in the pics. I have seen some miss-aligned rear bumpers on both the SD's and X's and really would like some insight as to how / if it can be straightend out / aligned.

Doesn't look too bad IMO. You can try to tweak it back into shape with some controlled cable pulls. In my experience, you can get it close, but never quite perfect. The bumper really isn't adjustable.
Bumper
I had the same problem with mine and had to loosen all four bolts on the side that dropped, it isn't easy to get the top two, and then jacked up the bumper and it came out perfect, they must have elongated holes for the bolts so there is some play.
Yea there is a little room for play, didn't even notice on my excursion till about two years after getting it then my wife followed me somewherenand saw it, then it started to bother me, those top two bolts aren't fun tho.
