A 94 f150 reg cab long bed 5.0 auto trans, 69,000 miles. woohoo
Now the problem. Sat 3 yrs full of gas. Had to take care of that issue to get I started. Now its running. Rough/missing. 65 mph downhill with a tailwind and not running on all cylinders. Considering the gas I figure there are some plugged up injectors. Possible? Pulled plugs and looks like it might have been running on 4 cylinders and put 8 new ones in. Still thinking injectors so ordered new ones. After I changed plugs I started it and it ran fairly smooth. CEL comes on. Found fuel regulator vac line off. Plug it back in and starts running like it did when I brought it home. Somewhat smoother but still rough and spitting out the intake. So it must be running rich I'm thinking. Should I be looking at the fuel regulator or keep going with the plugged injector idea?
New plugs and injectors and runs fine.
Now when I switch to the front tank it runs out of fuel. It'll run for a short time. Has fuel. Its full. I put it in there. Pump is running. Must have some sort of blockage.
Any ideas were to look?
