I think the upload speed is affected by your MBPS (internet speed). My at home pic upload speed is aggravating, but at work ( a little better internet) it is a little less aggravating. But the complete new process is still a giant PITA IMO.
Just testing my upload-fu to see what the changes hath wrought.
It's a bit clunky as far as more clicks to get the job done now, but upload speeds are un-changed at least for my computer.
Also, the drag-to-position feature in the new BAW (big *** window) is kind of handy. In fact, I needed to use it because I was actually trying to upload the pics in a particular order and failed miserably. The drag-n-drop feature helped out there.
Let's see how they come up. The re-sizing was done on my end, rather than in the browser or through the website. If that's even an option?
After a long day of chasing dents, a night spent dreaming of chasing dents... small re-sized image
I see clicking on them does not enlarge. It used to, correct?
It opens them in a "new window" (overlay, rather than a true new window. viewing pane?) which lets you use the supplied magnifier, but I like it when the pictures blow up with just the initial click. After all, that's the reason I click on a pic 99% of the time anyway.
What The **** is going on with the picture situation????
Have trouble uploading a 14 Kbite picture....says there are too many characters?????? 14 Kb???
Also if that weren't enough, the S L O W speed at which a picture finds its way after hitting the two little hills with the eclipsed Sun button (IMAGE) is horsehockey!!!!
THEN, if THAT wasn't enough, no pictures show up in a basic thread where the OP said there would be. E mail link shows a link to the picture...click on it ...no picture.....My cable bill is paid up, got a new bunny for the rabbit ears and plenty of juice in my house electrical system.......WTF????
If you're having trouble with the picture thing, hit the 'contact us' button and let the "powers that be" know you're NOT happy......ha..for what it's worth.
Same issues...slow load and acts like it is loaded. But no show up on the thread and just a small pic symbol square thing. So I guess someone implemented some more "good idea" changes.
Yes still messed up...https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/ Hit up the master forum list, scroll to the bottom and click on the "contact us" link and let them know. And how you really feel about the changes.
I'd complain again but seems futile. Marketplace is $ucked up. Have to go through 1 minute delay after I click on a thread to read it, then next thread no problem. The link for 73-79 parts doesn't work anymore, just goes to all parts for sale. Won't get into the pic thing.

Agree completely...delays on hitting a thread,...etc, haven't got a reason for the changes yet either...probably never will...
If you do not/did not vote, then do not complain about the current guy in charge....
But you are a paying CLUB FTE member, your voice matters. You paid for it (so did I) to work like it should, and have the benefits that are not working. COMPLAIN its your right. Even none paying, but still members should complain, the more complaints the better.
And there are no vendor links at the top of the forum. I wonder if they know it?
