They use garagetalk as a host and then you add FTE. I have FTE and f150forum on there. The icon is a "GT" in a word bubble. I'd post a pic but I can't

So I guess we are just having to take it as messed up as it is, deal with it or just decide to not get on FTE anymore? The picture up load process is still messed up and if you load pics you can not past any wording after the the pics are loaded. When you quote a person you can not see what they said. You use to be able to see what they said and then replay accordingly....

Please just put it back to like it was, these changes messed up FTE IMO. I have tried to adapt, but after years of being just fine as it was, someone though that changes would make it better, news flash they did not. Did the person that came up with the changes have any real user interface time with FTE? I mean like years of use and thousands of posts? Probably not.

Are you using mobile or are you on a pc? On my laptop I can still see quotes after I've hit the quote button, so I can reference the quote as I'm replying such as right now. I don't know about the picture process though, I'll have to check that out later. I don't do FTE on mobile though, so I'm not sure on that front as well.

If by mobile you mean the app and not using safari or chrome then yes it's still the same,
You can see what you are quoting.

As for rich, he's on a pc... flip phones don't do well with internet lol... wait didnt you just upgrade to the 21st century with a smart phone?

It's all working fine for me as far as I can tell... But yeah, I hate seeing everything on the internet being changed to accomodate those stupid phones - they're a lousy substitute for a landline telephone, and they're a lousy substitute for a PC. I also have noticed that windows 10 is way too much like a phone. If all cell phones went away tomorrow, while I would actually miss them some, I would probably still be more happy than upset about them being gone.

As an IT guy, I appreciate the hard work involved to make the site work as well as it does with old versions of Internet Explorer, IE9, IE10, IE11, Edge, FireFox, Opera, Chrome and Safari browsers on Macs, Windows PCs, Linux PCs, tablets, chrome books and smart phones. It's a super hard thing to do, because each browser supports and implements the code differently. Also, tablets and phones have way less screen real estate to use.

The site admins know who their customers are, and what devices they're connecting from. They have limited resources to make the best site they can
. Desktop PCs are going the way of the dinosaur, and the site admins have to allocate their resources accordingly.

Heres a suggestion for us users: don't simply say "I don't like the changes". That means absolutely nothing. If a change really bothers you, explain why it bothers you, what's wrong with the method, and a suggestion for what might work even better.

Also, help the system admins to fix the problem. There are hundreds of device configurations, and the developers can't test them all. When something doesn't work, send the admins an email. Tell them what kind of computer/tablet/phone you're using, and what browser you're using. The site likely works perfectly for the admins. Show them why it doesn't work for you.

sure, we can all threaten to boycott, or go to another site, or complain about changes, but the site needs to work for EVERYBODY. Help the admins to help us. They'll fix it eventually!

Lap top now, NO mobile phone yet...yes I did just get into the smart phone world.... but my work PC same issues. It could be user error, but if they did not change it there would be no errors on my part. I'd say the worst part is the pic up load process, at least for me. And you all know I love to load pics. It could be that I just do not know how to or understand the new pic upload process to make it easier. BUT THE OLD WAY WORKED GREAT.

It is was not for my FTE addiction that I have developed over the years, I would be so done with FTE because the new changes they have made. Really that might be the best for me, that way I can get off the damn computer and get back to working more on my red truck, blue truck, silver truck and Bronco.

What can't I make the damn FONT in this screen bigger? Finally figured out how to past words after the pics have loaded, PITA though. I agree with why did the admins not ask the users what we though or would like to see as far as changes. or ask up what does NOT work. I know there would be a 1000 suggestions, but at least they would of asked.

Ok so found another glitch, I USE to be able to go to the "Want to Buy" forum, "WTB-parts and other" section and reply to an add just like replying to other threads. But SOME of them to not have a "post reply" option. Any new thread that has 0 replies, its like the thread is locked.

Like this one: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...r-74-f250.html

I also seen the new "Marketplace" forum...not a fan of it. The old way with WTB adds layed out like the normal forum thread list is easier to go thru.

Just saying.

Actually if you're just wanting to make all of the words larger, then just press and hold the Cntrl key, and then scroll up (or is it down?) with the scroll wheel.
