Could be a wheel hub issue or the toe is off.

Out here I have to be careful which roads I "test" the truck wander as some have more crown than others (as ExPACamper said).

We don't either unless we set em up on blocks, pull the wheels off, and put a skirt around it. Then it's property tax on your house

I don't think I believe Mark's story. You see, living in PA, I know for a FACT it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a 50ft stretch of road that doesn't require you to cross to the other side to avoid giant HOLES in the road. It was a trick question. When he said the tried just "one side" of the crown, I knew I had him! LOL.

Just kidding, buddy. But you know how our roads are!

When did they ditch the property tax for automobiles? I may or may not have have found the cause but either way I have an issue. This one is rather dragged out for me, I'm usually short and sweet...
Here goes...
My right side caliper rubs on the outer rotor on the braking surface. It made a circle about 3/8" around the edge. Once the groove was ground it stopped hitting though so I don't see it causing the drifting but I will see. I tried all kinds of stuff with this, new caliper, new rotor, swapped rotors left to right, still no fix. Swapping rotors left to right did curb it a little but it still rubs. Everything about the wheel is tight. Next I took rotor to NAPA (who was working with me on it, this is a decent store I have here) and had them cut it on a lathe. While there we skeptical as to how it would work they did it and it solved the problem, they were even able to keep it within spec. So...what's the problem here? They suggest a bad bearing but it doesn't wobble, make noise or emit excess heat. Right now I need to get this thing through inspection and I can try other things later.

BTW, I didn't find anything specific in a drift causing a failed inspection but I think that the squirrelly tires are what spooked my former mechanic.
