Angry Headlights & Dash Lights

I didn't know the best place to post this, so I'll post it here. Someone at Ford really needs to rethink the headlights, DRL's, and dash lights. I come across someone everyday that doesn't have their headlights on, so they have no taillights, and they think they're on because of their DRL's and dash lights being illuminated. Ford you need to rethink this system and find a way to alert drivers that their lights are not on besides having people like me yell at them because they're clueless.

Didn't know the dashlights came on without the taillights burning also. I know what you mean about the drl's though. I also think Ford and the other manufacturers could save a lot of money by eliminating the lever sticking out the left side of the column(the turnsignal lever). No one seems to use it anymore, so why have it on there?
