2010 dash cluster

i have a 2010 f-150. during the day normal sunshine the guage area is to dark to see any unless you put your head down close to the steering wheel.at night when the lights are on it is just great. any one else have this problem. at dusk the lights on the dash come on by them self. is there something i can do to have them on all the time i have good eyes & do not wear glasses. thanks for advice.

you can turn your headlights or running lights on.
or upgrade to a 2011 & up.

that's about it.

the 2011's have the dash lights on all the time

personally, im the exact opposite. i have terrible eyes and wear glasses, and have never wanted my dash lights on during the day.

i've never thought the dash was too dark during the day, but everyone's different.

I tried that and they didnt come on. as it gets dark at a certain point they come on by themselfs. that is why i think there is a sensor somewhere. thanks for your reply.

there is a sensor for your automatic headlights, but it sounds like that is working.

your dash lights should come on if you manually turn on your running lights. if that is not happening, there may be something wrong with the headlight switch.
