My Plashlights light bar came with rubber pads that go between the mount upright and the mounting surface.
Are these necessary? It would seem to me to be a cause of lights loosening up after time, and vibration flicker as the light moves slightly on the rubber pad.
I have rubber pads on mine and they aren't causing any problems. The bolts don't loosen up and the light doesn't bounce, or at least I can't notice any movement because it puts out so much light.
