I am struggling with which cover to buy. Both are about the same price and both are removable, which is important to me. Peragon has great reviews and appears to be lower maintenance than a canister but I'm concerned about vibration at higher speeds. Reviews say that the panels rumble once you get going around 75 mph. I dont know that i could handle the noise. I assume I wouldn't have this problem with the pace Edwards. Any thoughts? Anyone experience this issue with Peragon?

Welcome to FTE! You've come to the right place.
I have the Peragon cover. The panels do vibrate at high speed but no noise, damage or anything of the sort. Each panel has a rubber strip separating it from the others.
I've read where the canister type covers are a major PITA in the snow belt as they don't seem to shed snow and ice as well as the Peragon. The bearing rollers and the track on the Peragon are designed to move the ice build up quite easily.
Let's be honest, every cover has it's pros and cons. There's no perfect bed cover that fits every single scenario. I love having my bed covered and secured and as much of a blessing the cover is, it can be a nuisance as well.
Does the Peragon cover interfere with the boxlink in the front near the cab? How do you prevent items from sliding to the front towards the cab which would prevent the ability to open the peragon cover?
Thanks for the reply. Good to know. I'm leaning towards peragon. Do they still offer fte discounts or military discounts?

Hello!
Thank you for your interest in a Peragon truck bed cover!
Yes! We do have a special offer for forum members and we offer a Military Discount. We ask for verification of your Military status, but that offer is a bit better even than our forum offer, in appreciation of your service. (The offers cannot be combined.) To get the details, please email our Sales team (sales@peragon.com) and include the name of this forum and your forum member name. We’ll add your email address to our promo system so you can take advantage of the offer. (We don’t sell, trade or spam your email!)
We have a ramp under our guide rail, along the side of the bed in the front corners, in about the same area as the BoxLink. If you watch our installation videos (www.peragon.com/support) you'll see what I mean. You can still use the BoxLink tie downs, no problem, with just a little consideration of what angle you come in at with a tie down strap.
I hope that helps!
- Heath
P.S. Thanks for chiming in Tim!

Here ya go, perhaps these will answer some of your questions.
Peragon cover is a nice cover. I makes no noise at highway speeds. MT has a 80mph speed limit on the freeway. The Peragon does really well at that speed for 4 hours of driving. Great price & great service.
