Any one know if a 16x8" rim will fit on the new 2004 FX4? I have a set of 285/75/16" Bridgestone Dueler MT's with only 9000 miles on them. Plenty left and I want to get more use out of them.
Got concerns about the outside mounted shocks and the size of the brakes and rotors.

Just ordered an '04 FX4 Screw blk/blk .... dying here ... no patience!

I know the '04's are 6 lug, (the set I have is 5) but I like these rims so much I'd buy a set with 6 lugs. They're black so would look pretty mean on the new truck.

If I remember correctly the front brakes are about 13" and the rear is about 13.7" so by the time you add the size of the caliper housing it might be a little close.
