Closed Lug nuts for 1997 F150 (12mm)
Ok, so I bought a set of FX4 rims for my 1997 F150. I know I need to have the flat side lug nuts for the hubcentric rims to stay tight and safe. What I need to know is where can I get some lugs that are closed end, chrome or black? I want it to look dressed up, not the old lugs I had that used to be covered by the center cap...
Would shank style lugs work? I don't really understand how they work exactly, it looks like the washer goes up over the shank, or does it? Any Ideas?
Thanks, Schmidty
P.S. If you are running the FX4 rims on a 1997-1999 truck, what lug nuts are you using?

12mm capped lugs exist but when I was looking, I also have FX4 rims, I couldn't find any for under about $80 so I never got any. I try and keep an eye out at the parts stores for capped 12mm nuts but have never found any. I found some through Ford when I was looking, thats also why they cost so much.
