Power steering leak

Hello all. I'm having a huge problem with the power steering fluid seeping past the threads on the steering box side of the high pressure line and am having a hard time finding an answer as to why or how to fix it. It's coming from the new silver line in the pic. It's a brand new hose don't know why it would be letting fluid past the threads

Did you clean the 'hole' good (threads) before putting it in there? I know on a flare fitting teflon isn't necessary but I would try some.

You might try some liquid teflon instead of the tape stuff. Less of a chance to crack anything.

I had a leak there on my 90. turned out I had gotten the nut cross threaded into the steering sector, and even though the nut was tight, the tube had not tightened down onto the flair bell in the sector. To me, it looks in your picture, that the nut is not deep enough into the sector, not seating the tube onto the flair bell.

Yeah, If i remember correctly, the nut goes down almost all the way to the stearing gear.
