Leaking fluid power steering I think

While parking my boat in my yard. I had to continually pull forward and back up while cutting the wheel hard. To place my boat on the edge of my drive way. My Excursion 02 4x4 diesel starts leaking a lotof what appeared to be power steering fluid . I had just had rotator cuff surgery, so I couldn't look to see the source. My power steering resevoir appears to be low. All hoses appear to be attached. I have only moved the truck once since this occurred. Any ideas as to what caused this. The truck has a red head steering box.

The pressure side of the pump has a hose that pops out when it stops working. Once this happens, you need to replace the entire line. If you pop it back it, it will simply come out again... When you take the air box out and see the problem clearly, it looks like a simple o ring will fix it, but it wont. You need to replace the high pressure line, probably the line going to the booster...Ford wanted 89.00 for the hose...autozone was only 28.00...Hope that is the problem, it was an easy fix for me...Bummer you can't just put an o ring in...
