what I cussed today
new system and I knew I'd probably find some leaks. I tried to get everything snugged up before I put the cab and bed on the truck.. but I miss one... guess which one ... the tee fitting that sits on top of the rear end, below the bed and next to the fuel tank... couldn't even see it, I had to just feel for it and the area was so tight I could only turn the wrench about 1/8 turn.. Truck is on jack stands but lying on creeper was too low... so you do a half crunch till you nearly black out and turn an 1/8 turn or two then collapse.. repeat...
why is the one that leaks always in the hardest place to get to ??? is that Murphy ??
I don't know how he does it. The little guy must never sleep and is faster than Santa Claus. He sure does get around. As soon as I read where you had missed one I knew exactly where it had to be.
They refer to gravity as The Theory of Gravity, almost like it still could have some other explanation or might not always work. But, Murphy's Law is definitely a constant. It's there, it's universal, and the little wiley rascal doesn't seem to have any prejudices, he visits everyone.
I figured I might be free of him for a bit as I haven't really been working in the garage much. LOL...I was reaching up to get down the pole trimmer, I barely nudged a tank which fell onto a box resting on top of my tool box sending a mess of old screwdrivers scattering across the garage. I think that was Murphy reminding me that he is still thinking of me and still cares.
I'm glad you're making progress. How did the seats turn out? did you get them to move like they should?
Keep at it (the ab work out will probably do you some good anyways...LOL)

I hear you loud and clear about the blackout or 1/8 turn scenario. I don't have a car lift so most of my work is done on my back in the driveway or garage floor. It's either sizzling hot with sweat rolling downward in my eyes or so cold that knees, elbows and back go numb. The seasonably mild days? That's when the mosquitoes and biting black flies are in peak.
I'll be putting in the dash gauges, wiring and windshield wiper motor soon. That's an area that is assembled using the Braille method of fastener placement and tightening.
