It holds up to towing very well until you go over 1k tongue weight! Def not half ton status, wife has a 2018 f150 and it’s still considerably stiffer and holds weight much better than that. That being said I don’t tow heavy, often enough for the lighter load carrying ability to bother me enough to get airbags just yet.

It is awesome to drive on and esp Offroad!
Oh I know how awesome they ride. I live a couple miles away from Carli.
Deaver says they lower the payload 1,000 lbs. That's 1,500 lbs or so of payload which is definitely 1/2 ton territory. I'm sure it would be fine, but my Toy Hauler is about 1,100 lbs tongue weight, and I bought this truck to tow first, offroad second. I just can't reduce its towing capabilities in good conscience.
I've never expereinced them first hand, but I've heard a couple guys say it wasn't worth the $865. Pure Performance has some for $550. I've been holding off because I haven't heard any good reviews yet.
Oh if I had a big trailer or towed more def not these springs but as is I spend a lot of time off road and the roads of NC are horrible so this works great as for Offroad that’s what this is for.
The only thing I can see the minipack doing, is reducing axle wrap. All it does is replace your block with a stack of springs. So when someone says that it actually helped the ride, I don't see how that's possible.

Its gotta be a bit better tho right?? three smaller leafs replacing one fat one?? Or should they come out with a small pack for the front half of the wheel travel...like a progressive shock. Super plush in the initial travel, stiffens up as you get to the second half of the bump travel? All i know, my camper package springs ride like a ROCK when i don't have the dump trailer hooked up lol.
On wheel hop note...anyone adding traction bars? I built some for my titan and it was unreal how much they helped. No wheel hop, also helped eliminate the one tire fire.
The pack should help soak up the small freeway type bumps, in theory. You are using the travel, albeit small, in the pack before you start using your main leaf pack. Rather than with a block you are using your main pack right from the get go.
Now if that translates into real world awesomeness...no idea. I couldve sworn someone here got them, but cant remember who. Maybe Joneseer or Kbryant?
I had the Add-A-Packs on my 2005 F250 and now the Full Progressive leafs on my 2017 F350 so not quite an exact comparison but I can say that the Add a packs smoothed the ride noticeably. No where near the plushness of the full leafs but its a great start. With a good set of shocks I'm sure they can ride pretty well.
They also did not sag near as much as my stock F250 springs when my fifth wheel was hooked up.
Admittedly the X factor here also could be the fully boxed frame.
