These are the ones I got for my truck. Liking the price and ride so far!
Yep thats them.... my front end is so stiff I wonder if someone swapped the springs out.... even with the cheaper soft shocks going over railroad tracks shakes the crap out of me LOL.
What kind of air pressure are you running in the front tires?

After switching to the ATS X & Modded C + Bilsteins, I am in the same boat when the EX is not loaded (daily driving). I haven't had a chance to test the performance with the EX loaded up and weighed down.

My RWD 2003 6.0 had a stock steering stabilizer which I just upgraded to a bilstein 5100 steering stabilizer, maybe the gasser RWDs didn’t have them? I also upgraded to adjustable Rancho rs9000xl shocks front and back and like them so far. Still trying to find the best setting though.
Thank you all. I went ahead and purchased Bilstiens and plan to put new ones in all the way around this weekend. Curious about the steering stabilizer as my 2005 4x4 6.0L does not have a steering stabilizer. My steering nice and sensitive. Why would some have them and some not?
You should ABSOLUTELY have a steering stabilizer on your '05 4x4. Is the hole there in the tie rod to mount it? Is the bracket there on the passenger side of the axle?

Reason: nomenclature

Are you sure that the "stiffness" you feel going over railroad tracks isn't the front end actually bottoming out and hitting the bump stop ? I'd make a small wager it is in fact bottoming out causing that shakeing.

Im running 60 psi for all 4 tires..... my truck is ridiculous stiff in the front,
shakes like crazy going over railroad tracks.... I thought at first the shocks were seized but after putting on soft shocks no difference. It's like the front wont give for ---- .... im wondering if someone did a spring swap on this SUV... I bought it 5 years ago like this.

I wish it would bottom out that would be a nice feeling I can stand on the front bumper and jump up and down and it does not give.
