Looking into leveling my F350 it’s equipped with the snow plow prep package. I’d like to go with either a 2-2.5” kit. My concerns are whether the 2” will be enough or should I go with the 2.5” kit? I personally can’t stand a saggy rearend no matter it it’s a 1/2” or 1” can’t take it. Lol. I know if I did the 2.5 and rear was lower I’d be ordering bigger rear blocks. I don’t mind a slight rake ( rear higher).
If I went with a 2” I fear it’s not quite enough to be satisfied. Also looking at different kits. I’ve seen a lot of guys using ready lift kits. But imo the 2” ready lift kit seams pricey @ almost $450 for pucks and shocks. Honestly I don’t care to swap out shocks. I’m in a rural area everything isn’t paved here and for peat sakes it’s a 1 ton truck not a mall crawler.
Will the plow prep package affect height on a leveling kit than one without? Can anyone with a 350 with plow prep who’s done a leveling kit chime in?
For myself I wouldn’t go more than a 2” kit if you don’t want the front high look but I don’t have the snow plow prep, just the camper package. I also added the track bar drop bracket and new shocks that are 2” longer. I don’t know for sure but I don’t think you can put a 2 or 2.5” kit in without longer shocks.
I have a 350 srw sb with the snow plow prep and did a ready lift 2.5. The front is actually higher than the rear so I have new front spring to install to Bring it down just have not got to it yet. Don’t go higher than 2 if that.
