anyone have a f250 with snow prep package and a level kit? plow package springs are 1in taller then standard.
spoke to BDS about 2in kit and they had no idea what i was talking about said that the shocks should be ok and it should work.my question is being i already have 1in and im adding 2 more will the track bar and shocks fit being they are rated to a standard truck spring?
also spoke to ready lift and got the same response
any help will be appreciated i would rather not change spring but it looks like i might have to

Reason: spelling
I don’t have the plow springs but I do have the BDS lift. I’m also curious about this as I may swap to the heavier service front end springs in the future. Sorry I can’t help
I would plan on replacing the shocks and track bar drop bracket. My F350 doesn’t have the plow prep but it does have the camper package and I think it has the heavy service suspension so I installed the Fabtec 2” leveling spacer with new 2” longer front shocks and a drop bracket to get my axel back where it was supposed to be. The stock shocks are junk anyway so you might as well get rid of them anyway... do yourself a favor and get a new steering stabilizer as long as you’re buying parts.
I have snowplow prep and I added f-550 coils and a 2in leveling kit . It's almost a 3in level on a diesel truck . Track bar was fine but I went with rancho 2 1/2- 3 1/2in shocks Drives like stock
The BDS complete 2" kit should work fine. BUT opt for the adjustable trac bar, not the drop bracket. (yeah, I know it's $500,000,000) I think the 2" BDS/Fox shocks are still GTG. I don't think a 2.5 or 3" longer is needed, or will help (body might be too long?).
I'm keeping my plow springs because:
-they match the 250 rear nice.
-not sure if the soft oem springs are any good.
-I'll just go with Filthy Motorsports coilovers and linear springs if i want more.
-I'm adding a warn bumper and winch to protect the soda cans up front.
might try ready lift 2.5 and taller block in the rear so i keep a .5 rake still going through options almost sounds like i should just go a full 4in lift at that point would save alot with just ready lift 2.5 though

Snowman 8 - Can you post a picture of your rig. I am considering Fabtec 2" for my ordered 2019 with the heavy service front suspension (that is what the local dealer uses). I do want a small rake. Does yours still have any or is it completely level?
My truck won’t be a good comparison to most because I have about 2000 pounds of tool boxes, tools, fuel tanks and fuel in the truck all of the time. I have Air Lift 7500xl air bags and run about 30 pounds of air to keep it looking like it is in these pictures, otherwise it’s slightly nose high by about an inch. These are 35” tires on Fuel 20x9 0 offset wheels.
My 350 has the snow plow prep pkg. I installed the BDS 2" kit w/fox shocks and trac bar relocation bkt. Axle is perfectly centered and still have half inch rake in the rear
Thanks! I keep toying with the idea of a 2" but I am wondering if a 1" with the heavy service front suspension will be more of what I am looking for. I am sticking with 35" tires and TBD on the wheels.
I went with the 2” so my tires didn’t rub anything, plus with the fuel tank in the front of the box it lowered my front end a little over an inch when the tank is full. My tires slightly rubbed on the mud flaps until I trimmed them. A one inch would be nice, you wouldn’t need to change shocks or add a drop bracket and wouldn’t be high in the front end.
i went 2in bds with 325/60/20 on 20x10 -12
also added an inch to the rear the 2in level sat perfectly level but i pull a trailer alot
Any issues with rubbing? I have same size tires with 1 offset wheels ordered and trying to decide on what level to add to my snow plow prep. I also tow fairly frequently so want to retain some rake
