leaf spring bushings

i am looking at replacing the leaf spring bushings on the front springs

i am trying to figure out what size they are i am looking at energy suspension part numbers 4.2118R or 4.2119R they have 2 different "main eye Diameters" one is 1.25od and 1.5od

how do i measure this
everything is still on the vehicle and i would rather not have to take it apart untill i have the new bushings.

1975 f250, 4x4, ranger xlt, fe390

From what they say in the catalog, this is measured on the OD (outside diameter) so in theory at least you should not have to remove the spring to measure the bushing. Sounds like it should be easy enough to check then, if you have a dial or digital caliper set, or similar tool.

I'm not sure why they would list OD as the spec, unless it's just for this reason of making it easier to measure on the vehicle.
Normally they'd be comparing the ID but maybe they're attempting to make it easier on us for once.

So while I don't know if that's all true, it would be easy enough to find out. Just measure the main spring eye with a caliper-like device at the frame end of the spring.
Assuming you can even get a standard caliper in there that is! I've never tried it, so not sure if there's enough room to maneuver in there.
If you've tried it already and it didn't work out, we'll figure something out.

You need to know the bushing OD is 1.5” x3” lg (outer sleeve) to go along with Bills info given above for bushing inner sleeve dimensions.
