Looking for Intake Ducting
my 4.0 Aerostar intake duct is shot. The "accordion" section is cracked, I have sealed it temporarily.
the rubber gasket or seal has turned into chewing gum.
the part number on the Duct is: F69E-9R504-AA
I have no part numbers for the two rubber seals, which are different in size.
If anyone can help get these parts new or used in perfect shape, please let me know.

Mine on my 3.0 is crap also. I've got duck tape around it with large zipties, I would love to find one.

sittinguy, the 3.0 is easier to find, the problem is with the 4.0.
Bill, I called Gary at NOS Parts Source, he does not have one.
Several junkyards have them but with worse damage than mine.

I looked at your "About Me" profile to see what year you have (1992). Looked up the part number, searched for it. No one has any.

But, there was another number originally.
F69Z-9B659-BA (
replaced F39Z-9B659-D) .. Engine Air Cleaner Tube / Obsolete
1992/97 Aerostar 3.0L
I ran both of these part numbers, no one has any.

Has to be a K&N kit that will fit......
Something like a Ranger or some other car??
Something with the proper diameter, turn, and length.
And the 4 bolt mount on the filter to fit our Mass Air.
Here's one that could work, maybe

I used a generic custom intake kit. Not recommended. It had a lot of problems.
But what you can do is have a muffler shop build one using exhaust tubing. You will want a flex section in it and use silicone clamp on sleeves on the ends. It will need a fitting added for the breather tube as well.
