Excursion power steering problem.
I have a 2001 7.3 excursion 4x4. It’s power steering pump was moaning and it would lose all power steering if you applied the brakes. I replaced the power steering pump ... no change, replaced the hydro boost ... no change, replaced the high pressure line from the pump to the hydro boost and the line from the gear box to the hydroboost ... no change. I also have made sure there is no air in the system to mess it up. It has some power assist when sitting but the pump moans a little, but if you hit the brakes or turn the wheels all the way to lock it will moan really loud. Also when the brakes are applied or the wheels are all the way to lock the pump fluid level drops about about and inch and comes back when the brakes are let off. I am totally lost on what to do next. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Really sounds like air in the hydraulics to me.
May take a bit of googling to find the correct bleed procedure, recall reading it takes about 60 passes along with proper application of brakes to get the air out.
