I have the Bi-directional remote start in the pictures above. It’s just like the middle picture. I got it be my dealer forgot to add it while ordering the truck... I thought I would hate the extra key fob but I actually don’t even notice it. It works from a much farther distance than the factory one that came with my wifes F150! With hers you pretty much need to see the truck for it to start, mine I can start from inside buildings and from a much farther distance.

I got the aftermarket 12voltsolutions remote start kit. Uses the factory fob, lock-unlock-lock sequence. Couple hundred bucks, super easy install and works great.
