xlt remote start
Has anyone ordered the remote start option on the xlt from factory?... I did and really hoping I get the main FOB with the remote start and not the ****ty looking accessory FOB they show in the superduty brochure. Apparently know one in the dealership could tell me either way..

I have the facotry remote start on the key fob.
Now my brother truck did not have it from facotry but for 60$ he added remote start to facotry key fob! Pretty sweet just hit the lock 3 times and it starts and if u hit the brake pedal the truck shuts off without the key in the ignition.

do we have a parts list with numbers for those that may want to add as well? Does the dealer or Forscan have to activate?

Mine has the same fob as disker showed in the photo above. It works great and I use it all the time, especially during the winter months.

it was a directed remote start unit. It’s 6 wires to the obd2 port, and 3 wires to the headlight switch. Wire it all up and turn the key to on and it programs the box. Shut it off and your in business. I’ll get part numbers later or make a post about it. It’s very easy to install and take about 20 mins. Hit Lock 3 times on factory key and she starts. If you want to unlock more options on the dash you can fordscan to change run time, auto or manual climate control. I didn’t do that because it automatically turns the defrost/heated mirrors on or in the summer it turns on the ac with out the scan.
