4x4 problems

4x4 problems
Last nght put the x in 4x4 low and was going through a mud hole, half way through I herd a pop and now the truck will not come out of 4x4 low and the od light is flashing. I crawled under and I can hear the 4x4 motor running when switched to take it out 4x4 just nothing happening. Help please

Welcome to the FTE. Could you please post some more details about your Excursion? I am sure others will follow up soon with some responses. BTW, Have you checked the vacuum hoses to see if none have popped out? You did mention going though a mudhole

With the OD light flashing, you have codes to get from the transmission. Once you have those, we can point you in the right direction. From the sounds of it, you broke your truck taking it through the mud hole. It is anyone's guess, here online, what might have broke.

I have bypassed the switch and vacuum to a toggle switch just goes in and out off the relays.
