I'm having a issue with shifting into 4x4 high. It won't go half the time and says check 4x4. Then the wrench shows up. After the I switch back to 4x2 the wrench goes away. I had my dealer try and fix this issue about 3 weeks ago, but no luck.Didn't notice until I switched to 4x4 earlier this week. Gotta take her back in.
Otherwise I'm still in love. Great strong POWERFUL beast. Could'nt be happier. It's a new baby and there will be issues..no worries here.
I will keep updating.
Anyone else have and "switching" issues? Also note, sometimes it goes into 4x4 without any trouble...but 80% of the time it won't.
No problems here. I have 43K on her, used the 4X4 yesterday with no issues.
These are great trucks aren't they? There's nothing in my normal routine of work and play that this truck does not do happily. Only thing I know, from a little experience, is that the 6.2 gasser is lacking in the power dept. when towing over 8K. Lots of gas and a screaming engine unless you want to drop 15mph on the interstates going uphill. Glad I have the Scorpion.
I had that in cold weather here in alberta. Its probley not cold in texas were you are lol.i know about the hubs and vacum leaks also.when i got the wrench sign i would shut off truck and restart it and it would work normal. These trucks are full of surprizes.
Shane - my brother has an 08 and I am pretty sure the design is the same. He has had his hubs worked on for both vacuum leaks and sticking. His third trip in they replaced the hubs.
