I'm not the person with the problem, but I'm curious as to the outcome as well. The EPA should be thrilled with all the extra DEF usage helping remove NOx though!
As a side note, my first 2017 (a dually) seemed to use considerably more DEF than either of my 2016 diesels. I assumed that was the reason for the tank size increase. My second 2017 (a SRW) seems to be using virtually none. I've got over 3k miles on the truck an according to the gauge I've used maybe 1/8 of the DEF tank.
My 2011 F250 and now 2017 F350 Dually seem to use about the same amount of DEF. The dually is doing a lot more hauling of heavy loads so I am not sure how that would play into the equation.
Just hit 1100 miles since they filled it. Still shows Def is ok. It was around this time the half way warning triggered so I'm checking every day I drive it which isn't much.
