Different sources say different things. Where exactlyis the seat belt/head light buzzer mounted in a 1983- 1986 F-250? Unlike many people I WANT my buzzer to work.
In my 1986 F-250 I found the wiring harness for a buzzer directly under my dash, but I can't find a buzzer itself. It's most likely the previous owners, who used it as a farm truck, took it out of mine.
When I go to my friend's junkyard, where would I find a buzzer in the trucks up there.
ALSO, when did they switch to chimes? I want to make sure I get a buzzer & not a chimer.

Reason: Correction & additional information
Just found the one on my '86 F-150 today. If you remove the glove box liner it is above the middle glove box right in the middle of the box. You have to twist the buzzer 90* to remove it.
