c-6 tranny

hey i'm new to F.T.E. for a ford nut like me this is heaven. i've got a problem with the C-6 auto in my 76 250 thats kind of annoying.when it's cold out and i put it in drive nothing happens. it's like when your low on fluid. i checked the fluid level and it's ok. the wierd thing is that the colder it is the longer it takes to engage. any idea's?

"morning sickness" I have heard that it is caused by a plugged filter. I would have it changed along with a tranny flush and band adjustment, see if that helps.

Very likely to be hard seals in the forward clutch. Only fix is an OH.
