anyone know dodges?
doing a friend a favor next week and need a little help.
his 05 hemi 2500 with auto trans and esof lost 4 wheel drive.
dodge dealer already put $2500 worth of parts into it and called a little while ago that the 4X4 can not be repaired because they can not find out what is wrong with it.
he is picking it up tonight and dropping it off at my shop.
can i just wire the electric shift motor to a momentary contact toggle switch?
this is a plow truck, and he does not want to spend more than it is worth to get 4X4 back working.

my advice... check for power to all components needing it..
2002 to 2006 has major issues with the Smart main fuse box..
corrosion inside the circuit boards...
I know as I had one..
also visit the Dodge truck forum... as they list many of the Ram problems and fixes.
