4 Wheel Drive not working

92 Ford F150 4x4 Dash push button for 4 wheel drive will not work,checked fuse and no power at that fuse.Is thair a main fuse or broken wire,have checked wire in rear of fuse box and is solid,but no power at that point.Don't know what next,,,,,need HELP .....Winter is soon here

you'll just have to track it down man. trace the wires bcak and use a simple light tester. i would check any and all fuses found on the truck. also double check to make sure your switch works! sometimes they go out

Thanks for the help,come to find out after getting trans. rebuilt last mo.$1997.54 They forgot to plug in wiring harness.At least when i ask them about it they found the problem,,,,no charge,,,,and a $10.00 doller gas gift,for their mistake. Again THANKS

on my moms bronco the hub weren't engaging correctly and we thought that it was the transfrecase and it wound up to be a little motor of somekind on the driverside midway up on the side of the transfercase that got gunked up and was not allowing it to engauge or shift into 4wd. they get junked up after a few winters and ford never put a sheild or anything around them to stay dry and clean. bad design by ford.
