altenators
this is my first post,and i have a 05 350 s/d lariat 4x4 s/d crew. I am wondering why there are two altenators ? how many amps. are they? what is the reason for two? thanks for any help. this truck is so new to me

As winged said this was a $380 option. The 2 alternators are as follows, Top alternator is a 6G 135A unit and the lower is a 4G 135A unit totaling 270A. A great option to have when you want to accessorize your rig.

Thank You Guys For The Info. I Knew I Could Get Answers Here. This Site Is Great! The Only Problem I See With Two Alts. Is An Extra Fan Belt. And From What Ive Heard Its Not Easy To Change Them, But I Should Be Ok For Quite Awhile.thanks Again!
