WHITE SMOKE

WHITE SMOKE
We got some snow a couple weeks ago and it was very unexpected so I didn’t treat my tank or fuel system like i should have. At one point I lost all power and my truck was sounding really different. So I removed the filters put some diesel 911 in it and it ran great after that. Well a few days after that a light popped up and said low fuel pressure. I didn’t think it was my fuel filter because I knew it was tight. Ran it for a day or two hoping it would cut off thinking it maybe has air in the lines and what not. Didn’t cut itself off. Eventually found out that my filter cap was cracked and it was sucking air from there. So now I have great fuel pressure and everything is all good. BUT now I am blowing white smoke. I still have pretty good power but just white smoke. No white smoke on an idle. Only when I’m accelerating. Any thoughts on what it is before I dump money into it? Its deleted with an H&S minimax and 5 inch straight pipe. It has 222,700 miles on it

Not always, but usually smoke of a certain color indicates the source.
Blue smoke is related to oil
Black smoke is related to fuel
White smoke is related to water.
Have you check your coolant level(s) to see if you are low? Or removed the coolant reservoir cap(s) to see if you have air bubbles with the engine running?
