I just installed a 4" turbo back exhaust. I have recently noticed that there is white smoke with little acceleration from a stop. I run a tuner, so I know that the black smoke is normal, but the white smoke is something new to me. Any ideas what may be causing this and is it something that I should worry about or not. Thanks
it depends on how bad. bigger exhaust more room for moisture. if it smokes and then goes away, then you should be ok. if it constatly smokes, go back there and see if is steam or fuel smoke.
any ideas what the cause may be in terms of a fuel issue? Also, raw fuel as compared to what? Thanks again for the info. I will also have someone drive the truck and stand by the exhaust to see if it does burn the eyes at all.
Took the truck in today to have things checked. They think it may be a head gasket leaking coolant or perhaps a bad fuel injector. I am hoping if anything it is just a bad juel injector.
Just got my rig back... Dealer stated that it was the turbo and that the turbo had excessive oil throughout. They replaced the turbo. They tried to clean it first but truck was still smoking after a test run. New turbo, no smoke currently...
