Not really. Most late model frames are too wide. Plus if you don't have fenders, open wheels look like crap on modern frames. Lots of guys are using S10 frames on the 30s-50s pickup bodys and some of the ones with fenders turn out pretty good. Still not something done "easily"

Noticed this trend and for the life of me, I cannot understand why the S10 has been so popular?
Size up a Ranger frame, factor in the far superior suspension and the rack and pinion steering and consider the better 8.8 rear diff that will bolt in. No GM here, thank you very much and I'm on my second one.
Just another thought, check out the Explorer frame. 110" wheelbase, 31 spline 8.8 and a much flatter floor than the pickup. Same thing for a Blazer vs. the S10 should you be drinking the GM koolaid.
