Help ordering correct GEM module

I've pulled the CBJ and GEM out of my truck. There are obvious signs of corrosion and even visible moisture in the CBJ, the GEM looks ok. But if I can order everything for the same price, or close to it....

I was hoping I could just pull out the GEM and use the p/n to order a new one (ebay used) BUT......The GEM I pulled out of my truck says 4x2 right on it. I have an F250 Crewcab 4x4!

Every p/n on the thing comes back as a 4x2 GEM.

Now it gets really interesting. When I open up the GEM case, there is a differnt p/n on the PCB itself.
  • GEM CASE p/n 1C3T-14B205-BC (This is the one that says 4x2 and comes back as a 4x2 p/n)
  • GEM PCB p/n 1C3F-14A608-DB
  • CBJ p/n 1C3T-14A067-AC - If it matters.
This is how my truck is currently equipped with regard to the GEM (I may miss a few options):
  • Cruise (never worked)
  • Interminint Wipers
  • A/C
  • Fog Lamps
  • Manuel 4x4
  • AM/FM CD
  • Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors

What am I missing here? Is the 4x4 GEM used in SOTF 4x4 trucks only? Was this GEM reprogrammed, because that's big $$$.

I would pm Jefffafa he is the part number guy he works at an autonation ford dealership he helped me with a part number last week. Here’s a link to his profile page. I would have to assume the gem is different betweenthe electronic 4x4 trucks and the manual 4x4 truck since it doesn’t to the switching to 4x4 electrically

That's perfect thank you.

I did some serious looking at the PCB on the GEM under magnification and there is no damage to it at all, so I turned my attention to the CBJ. The blades on the threaded connecters show some corrosion so I thought I'd open it up and look inside, actual water came out when I finally got the case open and there's mildew. The contacts INSIDE the CBJ are toast, I'll post photos later.

Buying a used CBJ off ebay, is going to produce the same results I'm sure. I'm going to be ordering new I think.

The plates sandwiched and running along the edge all have corrosion and even mildew. Moister was present as high as above the bolts. When I first separated the box about a tsp of water came out.
