Help!!! 4-wheel drive not working
My dashboard switch is not working. The gem module went out recently due to the windshield leaking. During that time the 4x4 dashboard light kept flicking off and on while driving and I could hear the relay kicking in and out. I replaced the gem module but found out when I went to the beach that I couldn't switch over to 4wd. I checked the fuse under the hood and under the dash. They ohmed out okay. I to the dashboard switch apart and it appears the indicator light was blown. Could that possibly be the weak link or is there somewhere else I should look? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

If the GEM module doesnt pan out, check the 4x4 motor that is on the tcase that actually engages the 4x4. They have been known to get dirty and get stuck. They can be removed and cleaned for a fix.
