The pic on the Beans Diesel Site looks like a SD Pump.

It's obvious the parts guy mixed up oil pumps with fuel pumps.

It just goes to show how a "pro" can screw you over.

I think he was looking up a super duty 7.3l idi mechanical pump. The oil pump would be higher than 10psi.

so thank you every one who took the time to help me out.

I got napas version of a SD 7.3 fuel pump. That pump had a plastic fitting on the feed line side, w a brass quick connect threaded on it. And a another quick connect threaded into the return.
Thank God they had a hydraulic line shop in town. He had a JIC fitting for the plastic end. But the return used an odd ball thread, something "x/18". So we used the quick connect and added an extra line in the mix, quick connect to JIC, then to my existing return line.

I had a slight leak but it was running!! It was only able to provide 60 psi though. Reason for leak was my ******* and not knowing and not reading, I guess u need 4 layers of fuel line teflon tape. I did one.

Today I sourced a bosch 044 through a local mom and pop store. They got it later that in the evening. But the pumps on, and my fuel pressure gauge reads 65 psi again. Plus I have a back up just in case.

3 more days of quail season!!! I head back into the desert in the AM

Looks like they got you fixed up! Just be aware of that low-hanging fruit if you go off-road.

I haved used 044 pumps on several of my trucks. The first one on my '05 lasted about 25k miles. Now I go through them in about 6k miles, I just make sure to carry a spare. I'm not sure why, but I make sure to change filters at 5k, they just seem to be junk nowadays. I tried Walbro first and went through 3 of them on one truck in a few thousand miles so I gave up on them years ago.
I went back to a stock pump, but my 6.0 is far from stock and even in a low hp tune the stock fuel pump drops to near 0 psi. So I need something bigger, and the 044 does the job, when it's working...

The Fuelab pumps are the thing to go to. I have one but have not installed it yet, I have not gotten everything to convert it to my existing lines. Expensive, but have proven to last 6 digits in mileage.

I really like the idea of using stock SD pumps, even 2 in parallel if the volume is needed. If anything happens you can usually find a replacement, even temporary, just about anywhere.

These Bosch "replacement" pumps have a real spotty track record and are not known for reliability. I don't track fuel pump failures but I've never heard of a genuine OEM pump that came with a Super Duty from the factory failing prematurely. They are not the same pump.
