ArboristAk do you have any dimensions or plans on the headache rack? Looks pretty good. I was looking at one of those magnum ones but holy cow 700 bucks! I made a flat bed for my old 77 a couple years ago with a headache rack it was off by a hair but looked decent. Yours looks on point. Is yours aluminum?

I do not have any plans for it. My brother and I kind of made it up as we went along and it turned out perfect! Well, actually my brother had built several similar ones for other people, so we just tweaked the design to fit my truck. I really like the removable bar that keeps the lumber or ladders off of the tailgate. And yes, it is aluminum.
Went over to a buddies house today to talk deer hunting strategies for next year and take down some stands. Loaded up this evening and my wife caught this pic of the sunset.
