Stowable Loading Ramps
Hey knowledgeable truck guys & gals,
I'm a relatively new poster on this forum and I'm thinking of ordering a 2018 F-350 gasser SCSB SRW in the coming months (it's finally time to tell my '87 F250 heavy-duty SCLB goodbye after all these years). What I'd like to know is: has anyone ordered the factory pre-installed, stowable loading ramps with their pickup? If so, can you post some pics of the ramps showing how they attach to the tailgate, and also how they attach to the BoxLink system when they're not being used.
Finally, do you like them for loading stuff (ATVs, lawn tractors, motorcycles, etc.) and would you order them again?

Agree with you, they're kinda pricey, but pretty cool! Thanks for the Amazon video link. I wonder if they will still store along the sides of the bed if the truck has the stowable bed extender?

After reviewing some additional videos on YouTube, it appears that the ramps do still store away in the same manner even if the pickup bed has the stowable extender.

Yes the ramps are expensive, but if you use ramps often the Ford ones are definitely worth it in the long run.
If the ramps are in the bed, the extender won't stow all the way against the sides of the bed and will hit the ramps. Just FYI.
