Bed mat

I’m thinking of buying the ford bed mat, but want to make sure I’m not doing the wrong thing here. Are there any other bed mats that are far superior? I’ll be using the bed mostly for hauling trash to dump and hauling smaller things around from time to time, but nothing serious. I just want s durable well fitting soft bed mat. Thanks for any recommendations! My truck is a 2018 f250 CC/SB.

Take a look at the BedRug XLT.

Cheaper than the full BedRug, offers the same coverage/protection as the Ford Bed Mat, offers tailgate protection, and the installation is much easier than the full BedRug.

I hope this info helps you out.

Have a great day.

As far as bed mats go, the Ford branded mat is about as good as it gets and the prices are good too. Not a lot of tech involved in a thick sheet of rubber, really.

I’d like to get the bed mat in my build but it’s kicked out when I add the goose hitch. I’m fine with cutting a hole in it myself but will have to order separately.

If you're not into logos, get a DeeZee bed mat ... fairly inexpensive, too. Paid $85 delivered via the AutoZone website.

How thick is the ford mat? Can you roll it up easily?

It's roughly 1/2" thick and probably 60lbs. Very easy on your knee's, but very durable at the same time.

What visors you going with? I broke two pairs of weathertechs so I’m looking for the next best thing. The in-channels broke when I rolled up the fronts. Backs were fine ...
