Really need some new battery cables on my 86 van. The passenger positive cable going down under the van is almost bare at the terminal. Just have some electrical tape over it now. Ive tried searching for the cable but can't find a place that sells them. Autozone shows they sell them but shows them for $10-$15 and I can't see how that could be the right cable for that cheap.
Any suggestions for where I can get the right cables?
Hmm, according to RockAuto, the trucks and vans use the same positive cable assembly, which I wonder about. Your other battery is down on the frame somewhere, right? Hmm, maybe the same cable does fit/work. Anyway, it's Standard Motor Products, A11600HP , also available on Amazon.
If you know the length and ring terminal size, just about anybody can make what you want, online vendors or maybe local. Welding supply co., even eBay. $20 or $30 should get you all hooked up, with good stuff and solid copper tin coated terminals.

On the vans, the two batteries up on top. Assuming the starter is the same distance from the passenger side battery compared to trucks and vans, I would think the cables are the same as the truck.
I just searched Amazon for replacement battery cables ('93 F250 7.3) and only see a BWD positive harness (for MORE than O'Reilly) and two Standard Products negative cables.
Maybe it's different for the E350? Can you please provide the part number?
Thanks! For some reason the idiotic search engine at Amazon shows it as "This does NOT fit your vehicle" which is why it didn't come up under replacement cables. Even though it obviously does!
You saved me some money when it's time for a replacement
