ABS light constantly on. I'm used to sensors going out on these.
I replaced the sensor. 3 times now. First time I used a brand new aftermarket sensor. No change. second time, I used an OEM used sensor to test with, again, no change.
I swapped the sensors from the 2 front wheels. Code did NOT follow the sensor.
When I clear the codes, turn the key and start the vehicle, as long as I do not move, the code does not come on.
I unplug the sensor- the ABS light illuminates. Same code, C1234. This leads me to believe the wiring itself is not bad or at fault.
I swapped both front hubs between each other thinking maybe I had a hub going bad. No change. I swapped the front hub with a few other hubs out of other trucks I have here (none of which have ABS light on ever), no change.
At this point- I'm at a little bit of a loss. Other than pulling the cluster and pulling the light- I'm out of ideas, and tired of pulling this front end apart over and over.
