X2 on a couple of extra hands..
1. Remove the tailgate. Have a stack of pallets or tires to have it rest on once its upside down. The stack will be just forward as the bed sets, before you flip it over.
2. Set it down/balanced flat/normal on a single stack of pallets (with the pallets in the middle) and tall enough to be able to get a car tire/small lawn mower tire under each fwd corner for protection.
3. Using a old tire on each fwd edge corner to protect the corners.
4. Lift the bed from the tailgate end and roll it up on the cab facing end (header panel) then roll it right on over.
Making sure it as flat or as even on both sides where the bottom fwd corners contact the tires.
Make sense? Having a extra set of hands on each fenderwell as it rolls makes it way easier.

I am 1 man rebuilding my truck so you have to get creative at times.
I am using the bed floor only to replace the wood floor on my 81 F100 flare side.
Used the picker to get it off the parts truck and on horses
I used straps hung from the rafters
Again by my self. I had the bed off the truck, had the cab stripped other than front glass to make it light as I could get it.
I then undid the cab bolts and got horses close to each rocker. I was able to lift the cab 1 side at a time and push a horse under a rocker. Once the cab was off the frame I pull the rear axle so I could pull the frame out from under the cab.
I did have to move the horses to replace the floors. rockers, door posts and cab corners.
Bottom was also coated before I got it back on the frame.
As you can see the rear axle is not in place so it would fit between the horses.
Just take your time and if you can get help so you don't get hurt. Wife did help me get it back on the frame so the bolts would drop in.

ps There is a post of making a bracket from wood to fit on the end of the picker and it would fit inside the cab roof from door to door. I think there is a post of this on FTE but cant remember what area.
