Metal ting as the turbo spools down?

Hello, recently I've noticed after I turn off my truck I hear the turbo spoiling down like normal from the exhaust but there is s metal ting type of noise that happens before you can't hear the turbo spooling down anymore. What is this? Could it be a problem with the turbo not spinning freely like it should?

Have you removed the rubber intake hose and checked lateral play of the turbo shaft? The turbine fins should not touch the body of the turbo.

I’ve posted this before but this was my tinging sound in my turbo when it was spooling down. Only time I heard it was when it was spooling down.

I priced out a rebuild kit and wheel from K.C. Turbos for $250.00. Haven’t done anything yet. I was lucky and had a spare turbo. Drove it for over a week when I first heard the sound and was searching for the source. Finally decided to take the turbo apart and here we are.

There is the link for you, that time was a littke different than what normally has been happening, that was just one ting but normally it's 3 or 4 tings. You can hear it around 11-12 seconds into the video.

I took off the intake today, everything seemed okay. Spun freely, no lateral movement, didn't seem like it was touching any part of the body of turbo.

I heard another vehicle in the background, no tinging tho.
Perhaps it's a case of some exhaust components that have shifted or changed just a little bit, I'm sure we all know what that sounds like when you come to a stop after driving and things are cooling down.
Perhaps you are hearing that only after it's shut down?

Maybe, it doesn't sound like that to me but maybe, everything looks good on the turbo so.
