I have a 2016 ford f250 6.7.I installed a ford remote start , I have the keys cut and Programed .I need to get into the brain to turn it on. Is there a program I could buy to do this ? (with out spending thousands of dollars)

If I understand correctly, your truck did not come with remote start. You installed the factory remote start system yourself and now you need to enable it in the computer so it works. Correct?
You have a couple of options, 1) your local dealer can enable it. They may be nice enough to do it free but most likely will charge around $50 or 2) you can download FORScan (free), buy an ODBII adapter and do it yourself.
Check out the FORScan thread here on the forum. There is a link to basic instructions and the specific mods in post 4 I believe.
correct , The dealer (bob bell glen Burnie md) wants 120.00 to do it and they are being very rude about it. I stopped in last week to set up appt. They were rude more concerned about who installed it than the job itself. Made appt for Saturday ,was running late so I called them to let them know and they said I did not have and appt and would need to make one . Still more concerned about who installed it. the guy transferred me and no one ever picked up the phone. Would love to be able to do this myself .I also installed ford factory fog light. They came with auto on lights that also needs to be enabled(my Truck may or may not have that ability) and the dealer wanted another 120.00 if they could do it or not.
In this case FORScan is the way to go. I don't recall anyone here doing this with FORScan but I don't see why it couldn't be done with this program.
You will need:
OBDII Adapter to plug into the truck about $80 @ Amazon for a good one. (some cheap ones don't work with FORScan)
Windows Laptop with Bluetooth Capability
FORScan Extended License - Free after registering @Forscan.org
optional:
If your Windows Laptop does not have a bluetooth card you will need a USB to Bluetooth adapter for connecting the PC to the OBDII adapter.
All in all for about $100.00 you can make the changes yourself along with a bunch of other option you can change, like the DPF% screen and add additional turn signal flashes during the bump command or enabling the fog lights with high beams on, etc.
Yep, I’d agree educate yourself with the links provided, bdycm seems to be the right spot to enable. Recommend scan tool MX Bluetooth. I tried the WiFi version to get to work with iOS devices, no go, connectivity issues. The Bluetooth version I have not had any problems with.

There have been a few, not sure how many, that have turned on remote start and other functions by using FORScan. There is a thread that has many parameters in carious modules than one can change. Number of lane change blinks, Bambi mode, Dark Mode, NAV etc.
This link is fairly long on changes and people testing the changes.
