Bought my '17 SD SCSB 4X4 last fall. Starting to get tired of "jumping" into it. It is very tall. I do still love the truck and enjoy the ride height. Wondering what brand of step-ups you have had the best luck with. Looking for something that isn't going to tear the body up by bolting on. Also looking for something that won't rust easily. About 20 years ago, my Dad bought a new '99 SD and put Westin Step-Ups on it. He ended up replacing them EVERY Year he owned the truck due to rust issues. Westin Honored the warranty and replaced for free, but still a PITA to take it in every year which is why I am trying to avoid a similar situation.
To reduce effort getting in/out of the bed I put on a bedstep by AMP. It would be nice to have another one for the other side! Perfect for stepping onto the tailgate when it's down while TT is connected (no center ladder).
