Dually - yes, it was a CPU cutout. I sat down with him and picked between 2 diff programs he had. I think the 3M template was the winner if I remember right. Installer let me know that if it didn't work out, it would end up being 1 rectangle cutout around all the letters. But he was able to get to all lay down perfectly. +1 here my installer too had the computer cut out the letters, they said that the film would just pull away over time. I would agree the installer as I have had other installers try and do complex depressions which after a year just pop, and I have used most of the major films they all end up doing it.

 

If one has a black truck I believe it is well worth the investment. Like others said, it makes clean up a breeze. So worth it. And it does enhance the look of the paint. So, it must be prepped right or it will magnify defects. That is the key.
