There are all kinds of different heaters out there for vehicles. But where I'm at in Colorado, a block heater is more than sufficient. Unless it's in the teens or less, my 6.0 will start without the block heater plugged in. I'm curious to see how my 2019 6.7 is going to do this coming winter.

For the 2017 (and forward?), the manual says to use the block heater at 9F and below. Your 2019 should do fine, there were a few times when traveling for work that plugging in was not an option, other than the glow plugs taking a few seconds longer (maybe up to 30 seconds) it cranks right up. My bigger concern will be in 4 or 5 years when the batteries are not as strong.
In the 2019 owners manual the block heater is recommended for temperatures below -9°F (-23°C)
This is the recommendation on the 2017 as well (page 177). I had remembered the 9, forgot the negative, makes a bit of a difference I guess. That's not to say using the block heater when the temps are above -9 will hurt anything.
