You don't give us much to go on, so let me ask. What are you trying to accomplish? Better performance? Your avatar shows a lifted truck on larger wheels, what else has been done to it?
Hi welcome to FTE, first off if your wanting HP your looking into slightly bigger injectors, 4” exhaust and as for that K&N please bin the POS all it will do is let more dirt and finer particles into the turbo and shorten its life, go with an S&B or the 6637 set up.
Anyways I’m hoping off my soapboxe now, if your wanting HP your going to be needing more fuel and air and the only way to move more of each is to upgrade the supporting areas (exhaust, intake and fuel delivery)
Someone needs to check my numbers, I'm eyeballing this.
I think your tires are about 2" taller than stock (about 31.5 vs 33.5 diameter).
Assuming you have 3.73 gears now, you are at about 3.5 effective gearing compared to stock tire size.
4.11 would get you about 10% from where you are now (about 1/2 undoing the tire increase, and half an increase over stock. 4.30 would be about 20% more from where you are now. Assuming you are starting from 3.73...
Any chance a previous owner did gears? Is your speedometer accurate or does it read about 6% low? If it does read low, I would think the truck has stock gears combined with the bigger tires. Still need to check for axle codes to know what you have assuming they are stock.
The gear ratio does not affect the speedometer only tire size will. You also ain’t getting gears in your truck for $800 if you want to stick with that same size tire now is the time to decide if you want to do gears, if you want to stay with the 315’s I’d go 4.56’s this is also the time to upgrade to better limited slip or locker if you want to do that more money but a good upgrade. If that money is just burning a hole in your pocket and you gotta spend some of it I would get the spd y pipe and put that in instead of the necked down crap ford went with if you haven’t done anything to the exhaust. But the only thing that’s going to give you what want in your truck with a 5.4 for a reasonable amount of money is gears.

Op has an 04 5.4 as stated in his first post so climbing on that soap box was a waste of time.

I didn't catch the 5.4 part (was on my phone at the time so its hard to read at times on the screen), however as for the original post the parts about moving more air and fuel still do stand, upgrading the airbox and exhaust will help, seeing as they have a free flowing filter that hopefully solves the intake part, now we need to increase the expulsion part (exhaust).
again sorry i was on my phone and thought it was a diesel, my bad about that part I do stand corrected on that (posting on my PC now with larger screen)
