Bedliner over chrome?

Possible? Scuff it up with sandpaper, primer, bedliner, and hope for the best?

Well, I'm not a fan of bedliner over paint/chrome, but I would look for a chrome shop and have them chemically remove the chrome....paint, etc. will then stick to it.

I'm not such a big fan either but the Bronco will be living on a deer lease and I don't want the shiny. But now I think some spray paint that could be easily removed later and easily reapplied as needed may be the way to go. Thanks!

The guy who owned my truck before me painted the bumpers with bed liner I think. It's peeling by each of the wheel wells and in various other places. Now I have to try to fix it. I don't think he prepped it at all.

If you're using it for that reason, PlastiDip works great as a temporary solution and it sticks to chrome. You would have the added benefit of the chrome underneath shielding from rust where it scratches away. I sprayed my truck wheels with it to cover the chrome about 3 years ago. Living outside, they are still black and it held. Cost about $15 to do all four.

Spray it on think and it can peel off when you want it to, or it will stay in place remarkably well.
